Wednesday, March 10 - Tops (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter #ON1381 meets every Wed, 6:30-7:30 pm, Caledon Central School (Kennedy & Charleston, Caledon Village). This non-profit weight loss group meets to learn about nutrition & exercise. Call Barbara 519-927-5696.

Wednesday, March 10 - On Songs From the Woods (B105.5FM at 8pm) Host Rick Jones welcomes Jamie Robinson: Winner of the 2007 North American Rock Guitar Competition at the age of 17, the youngest winner in the history of the competition. Jamie Robinson represented Canada against countries including England, Russia, Brazil, Italy, U.S, and Ireland. 19 year old Jamie Robinson was awarded a Civic Award from the Mayor of Pickering for his accomplishments in the last year. Jamie has been playing guitar for over 9 years and teaching at Durham School Of Music since the age of 15. Playing in bands around the Greater Toronto Area since the age of 12, Jamie has been on the same stages as Tommy Lee, Justin Timberlake, Nickelback, Beyonce, and Shania Twain. Thursday, March 11 - Moms and Babies Nurture Group every 2nd and 4th Thursday of  the month, 2-3 pm, at Inside Out Family Chiropractic (27 King St E, Bolton). Open to all pregnant moms and moms with babes in arms to meet and discuss issues relevant to their life as a mom and a woman. Group is free. Enjoy a colouring contest, raffle, “count the coins”. Fundraiser to support CCS Crisis Support and promote CCS ReUstore and Chez Thrift.

Wednesday, March 17-On Songs From the Woods (B105.5FM at 8pm) Host Rick Jones welcomes Anderson Council: Guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Jeff Robertson sums up Anderson Council’s mission statement; “I would love to reach as many people as we can, and continue to do what I love, writing and performing music.” Their passion to spread their music and songwriting skills as far and wide as possible is what drives the band to continue their quest. Caledon residents can join the fight to end multiple sclerosis at the 2010 Bolton-Caledon MS Walk on Sunday, April 18th. 
With Canadians facing one of the highest prevalence rates of MS in the world, the quest for a cure is important to communities all across the country.  For Caledon area residents who want to help end this unpredictable, often disabling disease, the Walk is a fun and meaningful way to get involved.
Beginning and finishing at the Caledon Community Complex, the 2010 Bolton-Caledon MS Walk is a family-oriented event that combines fundraising with food, entertainment, and prizes.  Route lengths include an accessible 2km route and both 5km & 10 km routes. Join the movement. End MS.
